Zeeland is known for its charming villages, wide beaches and beautiful nature, but there is also plenty to do in terms of events! Throughout the year, numerous fun activities are organised for young and old alike.
Winter Glow Bruges
Around forty minutes by car from EuroParcs Bad MeerSee, Bruges glows longer than ever this winter: Winter Glow runs from 20 November 2026 to 14 February 2027. Two Christmas markets in the historic centre, on the Markt and Simon Stevinplein, are open from 20 November to 3 January, Sunday to Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm and Friday and Saturday until 9 pm. In Koning Albert I Park you will find the ice rink, open daily from 10 am to 10 pm (€ 9.00 per person, children up to 3 free), with the IJsgloed winter bar next to it under a canopy of lights. From 18 to 20 December, the Stadshallen host the Handmade in Brugge MAKERSmarkt with handmade gifts.
New this year: the light walk makes way for the Winter Giant, a brand-new Bruges legend that parades through the streets on 30 and 31 January 2027. Tip: Bruges is best explored on foot, and in the festive season there are car-free shopping days with free public transport.
Mornings on the beach at Nieuwvliet, afternoons along the canals of Bruges. Book your winter stay at EuroParcs Bad MeerSee and combine beach, dunes and Bruges in full Christmas spirit.
