Beach of Nieuwvliet
Nieuwvliet beach is one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. Sheltered by dunes and dikes, you can spend hours swimming, surfing, paragliding or watching the sun sink into the sea. Settle down on the terrace of one of the beach pavilions, such as beach pavilion 19 that has been a household name here for years. From the Sky Lounge you can enjoy a spectacular view over the sea while enjoying a snack and a drink.
Deltapark Neeltje Jans
Deltapark Neeltje Jans is an adventurous day out for the whole family! The theme park where fun and education about and with water are central. Embark on an adventure and learn all about seals and sea lions during the presentations, the Delta Works, the 1953 flood disaster, and dive into the underwater world of the National Park Oosterschelde at the NPO exhibition and the BlueReef Aquarium. Then enjoy the water slide, the park train, and a boat trip on the Oosterschelde where you might spot wild seals, and experience a real storm in the Storm Simulator.

Vlissingen
In Vlissingen, walk along the longest boulevard in the Netherlands, grab a terrace by the harbor or explore the nature and recreation area Nollebos. Other attractions in the port city include the Keizersbolwerk, the Zeeuws maritiem musZEEum and the Arsenal. Vlissingen was also the birthplace of mariner Michiel de Ruyter. On the boulevard, his statue looks out over the water. Between Breskens and Vlissingen, the Westerschelde Ferry (bicycle-foot ferry) sails, taking you very easily to the other side.

Sluis
Gourmets and culture lovers will find their heart's content in Sluis. Not only can you sink your teeth into delicious Burgundian dishes in Sluis, you can also find the only Belfry in the Netherlands here. Sluis is a good combination of culture and fine shopping. If you like sophisticated food then a dinner in star restaurant La Trinité should not be missed. It is located in the former bank building of ABNAMRO and reservations are required.
Het Zwin Nature Reserve
Just across the Belgian border you end up in a true bird paradise. Het Zwin is a coastal lagoon full of dunes, salt pans and salt marshes that is known as 'the international airport for birds'. Migratory birds use it as a resting place during their flight to the north or south. Here you can spot storks, cormorants or kestrels, among others. Walking and cycling paths have been marked out and from observation posts you can peep at the birds. the birds. Boots or waterproof shoes are a must here.
Bruges
Bruges is one of the most popular and romantic destinations in Belgium. Moreover, the historic center of Bruges is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Stroll through romantic streets, along the many waterways and across beautiful bridges. Of course you should also taste a Belgian speciality beer in one of the cozy cafes in Bruges.
Maritiem Muzeeum Zeeland
The muZEEum is the custodian of a vast collection by Zeeland’s standards; some 20,000 artefacts, mainly of historical or maritime origin, from various owners. The maritime archaeological collection is one of the most significant in the Netherlands given its size and variety.
Michiel de Ruyter plays an important role in the muZEEum. This famous Dutch sea hero was born in Vlissingen. The museum also boasts one of the largest collections of items from a VOC ship in the Netherlands.

Golfclub De Brugse Vaart
Golfclub De Brugse Vaart has an 18-hole Championship Course. The course is more than 6 km in total and is designed as a park course. The trees, bushes and water features make it a diverse and challenging course.
Breskens
Breskens has a high number of sun hours per year. Not surprisingly, the main attraction of the seaside resort is its 4 kilometers of sandy beach. Stroll along the beach and past the octagonal lighthouse, take a look at the carvings of the emeritus pastor and sculptor Omer Gielliet in the Sint Barbarakerk or visit the Fisheries Museum. Every year in August Breskens is under the spell of the fishing festivals that attract thousands of tourists to the port town. Of course you must also taste Zeeland's delicacies such as fresh oysters, mussels and the Westerschelde lobster.
Tour boat De Festijn
Once a mussel cutter, nowadays you can take the ship for a cruise on the Westerschelde. Step aboard in Breskens for a 1.5 hour trip during which you may spot seals on the sand banks. If you are very lucky, you might even see a porpoise!
Knokke-Heist
In Belgium's most famous seaside resort, you'll find miles of sandy beaches. In addition, in Knokke-Heist you can also store, visit an art gallery or step into a museum. Like the For Freedom Museum for example, which tells about the hardships Knokke had to endure during World War II.
Museum Cultuurforum Aardenburg
Zeeland's newest museum is located in one of its oldest towns: Aardenburg. Here, you and your family can experience Roman times in a surprising way. Did you know that there was a real castellum here almost 2,000 years ago? Remains of this fort have been excavated in the town, as have many Roman artefacts. In the museum, you will learn in an interactive way how these objects were used in, for example, the kitchen and the bathhouse. You can also play real Roman games there.
Next to the museum is St. Bavo's Church, the oldest church in Zeeland. A VR presentation takes you on a journey back into its past.
Museum Belfort Sluis
In the charming centre of the Zeeland-Flemish market town of Sluis stands the Belfry, the only one in the Netherlands. The Belfry of Sluis was built in the 14th-15th century. A belfry was originally a medieval Flemish tower with bells that were rung during important events, such as a fire, the approach of an enemy army or the proclamation of a law. Later, it came to refer to the town hall of which the belfry tower was a part. A belfry was (and is) the epitome of urban pride, prestige and authority.
Museum Street The Vlaemsche Erfgoed
The Vlaemsche Erfgoed offers a glimpse into a Zeeland-Flemish farming village in the first half of the 20th century. The museum is embedded in the street structure of 13th-century Groede and is known to those who have been there as “the little street”. Small shops and workshops house the cultural-historical collections. The Vlaemsche Erfgoed also offers space for arts and crafts and living crafts, and is a social platform for people with disabilities.
Fishing Museum Breskens
In the fishing village of Breskens, where the sea and the land meet, lies a hidden gem: the Fisheries Museum. Here you step into a world full of stories about the rich maritime history of the region. From the old fishing boats that once graced the horizon to the remarkable fossils that lay hidden for centuries in the soil of Zeeland, every corner of the museum exudes sea and adventure.

The Museum House 1912 is an almost authentic house from 1912. There is also a place set up for the Cadzand traditional costume, and there are also opportunities to set up exhibitions.
Museum het Bolwerk
The border region between Zeeland and Flanders has a fascinating history. During international conflicts, the area has regularly found itself on the front line.
Remnants of these wars can still be found in the landscape on both sides of the Flemish/Zeeland border to this day. Museum Het Bolwerk shows how the inhabitants of the region have defended themselves against various enemies over the centuries.
The story begins at the Roman castellum in Aardenburg and ends at the bunkers of the Second World War.
The collection focuses on the period of the Eighty Years' War with its forts, redoubts and fortified towns, known as the Staats-Spaanse Linies (State-Spanish Lines). The remaining forts and redoubts have now lost their military function and have been transformed into beautiful nature reserves where rare animals and plants thrive.

During a guided tour, you will learn everything about these impressive birds, their unusual habits, and how they are cared for on the farm. After the tour, you can relax in our farm shop. Here you will find all kinds of ostrich products, from leather accessories to liqueur and products made from ostrich oil. A nice souvenir for yourself or someone else!

Beach en Adventure Sports Moio Beach
The most enjoyable beach activities can be found at Cadzand beach. Adventure Sports challenges you! On the beach, in the surf, the dunes or at sea. They offer activities on the beach and on the water, from very athletic to recreational and from old to young.
Moio Beach offers various activities for groups of 5 or more. You can book one or more activities with your group. All combinations are possible.
Would you like to try our activities with fewer people? It is often possible to join another group. In addition, during the summer months of July and August, we organise a summer programme in which you can participate individually.
Pierewiet Play Farm
Visit the most enjoyable play farm in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. You can do crafts, visit the animals, go go-karting, climb in the indoor playground, romp around in the large outdoor playground or enjoy a round of mini golf on the adventure course.
And exciting things happen in the technology attic. You can make very special things with wood, polystyrene, paper or iron. It's something different from the usual cutting and pasting.
If all that playing makes you hungry, you can enjoy delicious chips, snacks and nibbles. The pancake restaurant serves pancakes and burgers.
Escape @ Sea
