Discover the Roman castellum
Almost 2,000 years ago, Aardenburg was home to a real Roman castellum. Remains of the fort and various Roman objects have been excavated in and around the town. At the museum, you can discover how these objects were used, for example in the kitchen and bathhouse. You can even try your hand at various Roman games.
A journey through history
Next to the museum stands the Sint-Baafskerk, the oldest church in Zeeland. With the help of a special VR presentation, you can take a fascinating journey through the history of this centuries-old church.
